A Rose’s Name

I suffered those

Roses for you.

I burnt them

In the rain,

Scattering

Charred petals

By the fence.

So as soon

As possible

Let’s paint,

And feed the ducks.

So that I can forget,

That we ourselves-

Are just a couple of

Silly geese.
