Reflections On Adolescent Life: A Collection Of Jumbled Thoughts, Strange Ideas, And Peculiar Ramblings
Written and Lived, by Eden Preston
ABOUT ME
The last words of the famous poet Francois Rabelais were: "I go to seek a Great Perhaps."
I'd describe myself in context of this quote.
I'm a 16 year old girl, who seeks the great perhaps. I'm also a 16 year old who explores the fantastic past, who strives to live in the perplexing present, and squint for the sight of the future. I describe these wanderings in the perhaps, the past, and my present through some simple, inelegant self composed poetry, and/or unintelligible ramblings. I also try to understand the world through other's poetry, which I enjoy sharing. Hopefully I provide some insight into "The great perhaps" through my experience.
