Death in the Spring.

I know spring is hopeful,

And brings new beginnings.

I know spring resurrects

Organic killings.

I know spring

Means tulips

And almost summer.

No more chapped lips,

Yet I couldn’t feel number.

It will always

Make me sad.

Because at the end of all days,

I’ll still know that I’m mad.

And your roses,

Mean cuts,

Poet’s proses,

Means guilt in my guts.
